Medicare also covers people younger than 65 if they are disabled. There are two parts to Medicare coverage. They are known as Medicare Part A and  Medicare Part B. Medicare Part A is provided at no charge to the insured person, while Part B is is provided at a cost to the insured party. Most seniors pay their Part B premiums through an automatic deduction from their Social Security checks.
